efferent duct connect seminiferous tubules to head of epididymis.
epididymis is where sperm is stored and matured. peristalsis and mucuous move sperm together.
Vas deferens (sperm duct)
transport sperm from epididymis to urethra
ampulla of vas deferens
aka ejaculatory duct, lob at end of vas deferens that forces sperm to urethra. Ejaculation.
seminal vesicle
located next to ampulla, secretes yellowish substance (fructose) with ich nutrients and enzymes for sperms
prostate gland
secretes milky alkaline substance called prostate fluid, protects sperm from vagina acidity
Cowpers gland
neutralizes urethras acidity, acts as pre-ejaculation fluid, cleans and lubricates urethra
urethra
tube that leads urine and semen out of penis
semen
combination of sperm, fructose and prostate fluid
