process of oogenesis

A

while still in foetul stage inside ovary the germinal epithilium cell will undergo mitosis to form many primary follicles. at puberty, hormone FSH is secreted from pituary gland. one cell inside a primary follicle enlarged and undergoes meiosis producing 4 haploid cells. one cell enlarges and matures to form ovum/egg while other 3 are disintegrated.
