History
Examination

Hormone profile
Genetic testing
Sometimes testicular US or biopsy

If semen analysis in males is normal, what other investigations are required?
A
None

If semen analysis is abnormal what should be done?
A
Do a second semen analysis
If second one is also abnormal then move on to do hormone profile - testosterone, LH, FSH, prolactin, thyroid function
Possible chromosomal tests as well
