1550: Glass lenses, Cardano - prevent blurring.
1727: Schluze Discovery of silver nitrate changed when exposed to light.
1826: First permanent photograph by NIEPCE. Bitumen + pewter plate. 8 hours. Lavender oil.
1825: Daguerre + Niepce.
1837: Dauguerreotype: light sensitive silver iodide crystals on copper plate. (15 min exp)

1851:
Wet plates. Archer. Liquid light sensitive emulsion. Few secs.

1871:
Maddox, dry plates, smaller portable.

1888:
Kodak roll film. 100 photos. Light sensitive emulsion.

1948:
Landcamera - polaroid. Self-Developing.
