Experiential and analytical

Analytical, experiential, social and personal (quadrant)
Tends to be automatic, holistic, and emotional with little, if any, conscious awareness of even having made the decision.
Experiential ethical reasoning
Involves a deliberate, logical, rational process of problem solving based on professional ethical duties, standards, and expectations.
Analytic ethical reasoning
Points us toward paying close attention to these motivational issues.
Virtue ethics
Involves paying attention to interpersonal issues. This particularly involves listening carefully to what the affected parties have to say about their experience of the situation and incorporating this into our appraisal.
