What is a magazine masthead?
The title of the magazine at the top of the first page/magazine cover
What is a magazine cover line?
An article included within the magazine, catching the readers’ attention when looking at the cover page on a magazine
What is a magazine bar code?
The magazine code, located in the bottom right hand section of the magazine cover
What is a magazine skyline?
Located at the top of the cover, the section which runs horizontally across the width of the magazine
What is a magazine model credit?
Where the name of the person/people featured on the main image, is stated in the surrounding space
What is a magazine lead article?
The main focal point/story in which the magazine creators have focused strongly on
What is a magazine date line?
Located with the bar code, the date line simply states when the magazine was released
What is a magazine left third?
The bottom left sections of the magazine, usually not filled with very much graphology
What is a magazine main image?
The main picture/background of a magazine cover, usually placed in the middle of the page
