Erythromycin uses

A

Used in penicillin allergic pt for streptococcal, pneumonococcal, disseminated gonococcal disease/infections
Treatment/prophylaxis in: Carrier state of C. diphtheria, Chlamydia infection during pregnancy, Pneumonia (L. pneumonophilia, C. trachomatis), respiratory tract infections (M. pneumoniae)
