Butler introduced the Homicide act of 1957 which got rid of death penalty but certain muders

What did Macmillan do for education
- began to make moved towards a comprehsive school system - moved away from tripartite system

- faced with problems on how to increase growth and employment but keep prices steady

- Armoury made an effort to increase support by introducing a range of tax cuts of around 350 million - time of high inflation
