In the play Macbeth doesn’t act as how women were looked at in those days and she constantly rejects her feminine role. As soon Macbeth tells her the witches prophecy, it is Lady Macbeth who seeks to murder Duncan more than Macbeth. Also when Macbeth confides her about feeling guilty LM scolds him and talks about how he’s not manly enough and how weak he is.
