How does the scale box work?
- 1:1 = the exact size
- 1:2 = half the size
- 2:1 = double the size
What is isometric view?
It shows two sides and the top or bottom of the object (horizontal lines at 30 degrees)
How big is the drawing number characters?
1/2 inch characters
How big is the title characters?
1/4 inch
What does SH stand for on a engineering drawing?
Total number of sheets

Section number on aircraft (MS multi section)

Vertical dimensions are letters and horizontal are numbers eg.A-7

When the drawing has been modified and a new one has to be released

Bill of materials

The lower the number the smoother the texture
