What are the two types of lightning damage?
- direct (you can see so surface burning)
- indirect (you can’t see so like damage to electrical systems)
What must be done if lightning has caused a system malfunction?
A full inspection of that system must be done
When did high intensity radiated fields requirements come into action?

How many inspection phases are there for a hard landing?
- Phase 1 (inspection for damage)
- phase 2 (further action must be taken)
Who decides if a hard landing has occurred?
The pilot will decide and report it to the engineers
What classifies as severe turbulence?
Causes large abrupt changes in altitude and/or attitude.
