  1. Those obtained first hand by the investigator to help him answer specifically the purpose(s) of his study.
  2. Collecting data personally ensures accuracy, minimizes
    errors, and guarantees relevance to your research question.
  3. Those which are already existing and which have been
    obtained by some other people for purposes not necessarily
    by those of the investigator’s

● Disadvantages

● To guarantee meeting your target, collect more
questionnaires than needed, as not all will be returned or
usable.
