Lymphoma symptoms?

A

Painless lymphadenopathy, can cause venous obstruction, obstructive jaundice.

Hodgkin’s lymphoma

A

1/5 of cases. EBV and HIV associated. Painless rubbery lymphadenopathy. Pain with alcohol.
Lymph node biopsy will show Reed-Sternberg cells of B cell origin.

Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma

A

B cell or T cell origin.
High grade/ low grade.
Burkitt’s lymphoma- t(8:14), EBV associated
Gastric MALT lymphoma- H pyloi associated
Diffuse large B cell lymphoma- rapidly growing painless mass in > 65 yrs
