Clinical presentation of AGGRESSIVE lymphomas

Enlarging lymph nodes, systemic symptoms (fever, night sweats, weight loss) aka b- symptoms

Diagnosis of lymphoma is based on?
A
Lymoh node biopsy
Enlargement of lymph nodes >1cm can be indicated, but this happens with infections, drugs and autom immune diseases too.

A
Accounts for 30% of lymphomas
Peak at 15-30 years old, another peak later in life

Common Chemotherapy
A
Less intense:
1. ABVD
= DOXOrubicin, Bleomycin, VINblastine, dacarbazine
More intense:
2. BEACOPP
= Bleomycin, Etiposide, DOXOrubicin, CYCLOphosphamide, VINcristine, Procarbazine, Prednisone
