Where does the Right Lymphatic Duct join venous drainage?
Junction of R. subclavian and R. internal jugular veins
Where does the Thoracic Duct join venous drainage?
Junction of L. subclavian and L. internal jugular veins
At what point of the vertebral column does the Thoracic duct move left of midline?
T4
What is the significance of Virchow’s Node?
Associated with intra-abdominal or thoracic cancer
What is the significance of the Epi(supra)trochlear Node?
Associated with syphillis
What are absolute contraindications for lymphatic treatment?
Anuria and Necrotizing Fasciitis
What is the cisterna chyli and where is it located?
dilation of the distal thoracic duct - anterior to L1-2 and posterior to right crura of diaphragm
