Mediastinal lymph nodes
Infection of the upper limb, BREAST, skin above umbilicus ->
Axillary lymph nodes
Infection of the liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas, upper duodenum ->
Celiac lymph nodes
Infection of the lower duodenum, jejunum, ileum, colon to splenic flexure->
Superior mesenteric lymph nodes
Infection of the colon from splenic flexure to upper rectum ->
Inferior mesenteric lymph nodes
Infection of the lower rectum to anal canal (above pectinate line), bladder, vagina (middle third), cervix, and prostate
Internal iliac lymph nodes
Infection of the testes (not superficial), ovaries, kidneys, and uterus->
Para-aortic lymph nodes
Infection of the anal canal (below the pectinate line), skin below umbilicus (except popliteal area), scrotum, vulva, and thighs
Superficial inguinal lymph nodes
Infection of the dorsolateral foot, posterior calf ->
Popliteal lymph nodes
Right lymphatic duct drains the….
Right side of body above diaphragm.
- Right arm and right half of the head
Thoracic duct drains…
Everything else into junction of left subclavian and internal jugular veins.
-returns lymph back to circulation
