- old wooden groynes replaced by big stone groynes
- Beach replenished with sand to absorb wave energy & protect sea wall & sea front from erosion.

- Drain improvements & weighing down of the front of the cliff

- in 2013 Built 390m stretch of sea wall in the eastern part of the town.
