Describe the pathway of oxygen from the air to blood?
A
The oxygen from the air enters your nose, through the trachea, into the lungs. Then into the bronchus, to the bronchiole, to the alveoli and finally the oxygen diffuses into the blood.

A
In the alveoli

How are alveoli adapted for gas exchage?
A
Large surface area= More gas molecules can pass through at once Well ventilated= Constantly bring in more air to maintain concentration gradient
