Aggressive, often metastatic at diagnosis
Non-small cell lung carcinoma

3 types – adeno-, squamous and large cell
Adenocarcinoma is commonest, smokers and in non-smokers

Bifocal bilateral adenocarcinoma
Squamous cell carcinoma

Large, round, homogeneously enhancing
Solitary or multiple

How to diagnose lung carcinoma
-CT or US guided biopsy for peripheral tumors
-Bronchoscopic biopsy for central/ endobronchial tumors
