An abnormal sac containing gas, fluid or semisolid material, with an epithelial lining

A
A blind-ending track, typically lined by epithelial or granulation tissue, which opens onto an epithelial surface

A
An abnormal communication between two epithelial surfaces (or endothelial surfaces)

What are the borders of the anterior triangle
A
Superiorly – Inferior border of the mandible (jawbone)
Laterally – Medial border of the sternocleidomastoid
Medially – Imaginary sagittal line down midline of body

A
Anterior: Posterior border of the sternocleidomastoid
Posterior: Anterior border of the trapezius muscle
Inferior: Middle 1/3 of the clavicle.
