  • It is Arthritis!

What is stenosis?

A
  • Narrowing of a canal (intervertebral foramen or central)
  • Sometime Ligamentum Flavum will show up on imaging being called stenosis; this is normal with aging not a concern

A
  • Forward slippage of one vertebrae on another
  • Causes: Stress Fx, Congenital Pars Defect, Trauma
  • Common Sports: Football/linemen, competitive divers, gymnastics
