Q

It can highlight and target areas of dysfunction. (+)

A

Highlighting and targeting areas of dysfunction can be important when treating different types of disorders. This can therefore highlight the areas of dysfunction to both the patient and the psychologist, so that both know what to work on.

Q

6 Criteria Are Abstract

A

Being abstract, the 6 criteria are difficult to measure e.g. how much of each criteria do we need to achieve it, at what point is a person classed as abnormal. Basically the model ain’t really very objective or scientific.

17
Q

Difficult To Achieve All 6 Criteria

A

Many people would be classed as abnormal because it’s difficult to achieve all 6 at the same time, it’s a very hard goal to meet.
