When it passes posteriorly down the leg, through hiatus of adductor magnus

Medial and lateral circumflex arteries
Which artery does the medial and lateral circumflex arteries branch off from?
Deep femoral
What is the anterior terminal branch of the popliteal artery?
Tibial artery > anterior tibial > dorsalis pedis > arcuate
What is the posterior terminal branch of the popliteal artery?
Tibial > posterior tibial > peroneal & medial & plantar
What are venae comitantes? What do they do?
Accompanying veins of arteries
Allows heat exchange & warming of blood from extremities
