external–> hip and knee flexed. patient tries to push out. stretch muscle out more, or circumduct joint
internal–> patient pushes leg into their midline
hip int/ ext rot prone

but hold sacrum whilst doing to stabilise
hip traction
-patient supine
-pull leg and apply traction
-few seconds, patient breathes and increase traction

-lift leg up to feel start of restriction
-patient pushes down whilst practitioner pushes up
-take to new restriction

-bend knee and push heel to bum to barrier
-patient pushes back down to couch

-bend knee and abduct to first barrier
-patient pushes into midline

max= sidely. hold under knee and onto glute. foot onto my hip, knee flexed. patient kicks into my hip.new barrier= more hip flexion repeat
medius= prone. bend knee. push knee to patient. patient pushes leg out . repeat
minimus= supine. knee onto my shoulder. palpate muscle. adduct leg to barrier. patient pushes out. repeat

Plantarflexion. Push them into plantar, they try to Dorsi. New barrier is more plantar
