Tips for graduated cuts

A
  • keep elevation low w/ coarse textures and curly hair
  • fine hair responds well to graduation
    • builds weight and can make fine hair look thicker
  • if fine and thin, avoid weight lines
  • check neck line
    • if hair grows up, leave it longer so it falls below hair ling
    • use shear of comb technique to create customized hair lines
  • done best palm to Palm vertically
    • when you do horizontal, you tend to raise elevation
