This is presented through how neither parent understands Juliet.
Capulet doesn’t try to treat his daughter nicely but believes she shall be ruled by him.
Lady Capulet doesn’t understand why Juliet doesn’t want to marry, she won’t listen to what Juliet has to say.

This represents how no married couple is happy in the play as there is a very clear hierarchy between Lord and Lady Capulet.
Lord Capulet has power and dominance over Lady Capulet and this also represents how at the time in society men had the dominance.
