What is episodic memory?

A

Refers to our ability to recall personal events (episodes) from our lives.
eg: recent dentist appointment, a family holiday

A

Our knowledge of the world. Has been compared to a combination of a dictionary and encyclopaedia.
It is less personal and more about facts.

A

Memory for our actions, skills or how we do things. We can recall these memories without awareness or a great deal of effort. Muscle memory
