No 1 end of all cars
Where are the battery fuses located?
No 1 end of all cars
Where are the control circuits located?
No 2 end - Driver’s Cab
Where is the Interlock Relay located?
In each Driver’s Cab
Where are the TMS units located? Hint: (not the TMS screens)
The TMS units are in every car. The screen is only in the Driver’s Cab
AOD: where is the T-Set Static Inverter located?
Roof, No 2 end of the Driving Trailer (above Driver).
AOD: K set: where is the Motor Alternator located?
Floor, No 2 end Trailer Car.
Where are the Pantographs located?
No 1 end of trailer cars. Never on a motor car.
Where is the Compressor located?
Under the driver
Where are the Tangara lighting batteries located?
Driving trailer. They provide 120V power for all lighting.
Where are the Tangara control batteries located?
Motor car. They power the control circuit and auxiliary relay.
Where is the Motor Cut Out Switch (MCOS)?
In roof above driver.
Where are relays located?
Auxiliary relays Overload relay OCR / OVR relays Interlock relays Line switching protection relays
Are all located in electrical cabinets in either the Motor or Trailer cars.
Where are the air-conditioning units located?
On the roof, directly above the vestibule areas.
Where are MCBs located?
Drivers cab. (Motor car)
Stairwell cupboard. (Trailer car)
