Door Open Indicator Light
Tripping the DOIL trips the door circuit for the Motor/Trailer pair.
LVIL
Line Voltage Indicator Light (car concerned)
For the pantograph
AFIL
Auxiliary Fault Indicator Light (car concerned)
Indicates a fault with the AOD or battery charger.
Only lit when powering.
Battery charger fault: AFIL on car.
AOD fault: AFIL on pair of cars.
PFIL
Power Fault Indicator Light (car concerned)
Indicates a fault with the Traction Motors
FIL
Fault Indicator Light (train line)
When there is a fault anywhere on the train line.
Can be reset with the SIS (Supply Selector Switch) to allow other faults to come through.
Will illuminate in the Drivers Cab and in the affected Motor/Trailer pair.
Shut off Master Controller to press RESET button to reset FILs.
WSIL
Wheel Slip Indicator Light
When wheels slip or the parking brake is on.
OCR / OVR
Over current relay
Over voltage relay
Protection for the AOD
WSAR
Wheel Slip Auxiliary Relay
EMPB
Emergency Push Button.
Bypasses the Control Governor.
Operated by OMET-qualified worker
They must check the signals
Check driver is ok
Ensure 425kPa BP air

Supply Indicator Switch
Extinguishes fault light when battery charger fault cannot be rectified.

Battery Change Over Switch
Draws a battery feed from the lighting batteries for the control circuit if control batteries are flat.
