What is a questionnaire in media
Questionnaires consist of a series of questions that are made to gather specific types of information from audiences and they are an integral part of market research.
What are Focus Groups ?
this is a group of people that are put together to participate in a discussion about a product before it is launched, or to provide feedback on a political campaign, television series, and so on.
What are interviews in media ?
these are a standard part of qualitative research. They are also used in journalism and media reporting and, like questionnaires, are integral to market research
What are Online surveys in media ?
these are questionnaires that the target audience can complete over the internet. Online survey services such as SurveyMonkey make them quick and easy to create
What is primary research ?
this is research that has been undertaken by you personally to gain new data.
What is Market research ?
This is the activity of gathering information about the audience’s needs and preferences, conducted by a media producer or institution. This data is used to target the appropriate marketing and advertising at clearly defined audiences.
What is Qualitative data ?
Typically, this is descripted data, useful for studies at the individual level, and to find out, in depth, the ways in which people think about a product.
What is Quantitative data ?
This is data that can be measured numerically. This is measured precisely, such as the number of people who listen to a radio station or who have purchased a video game online.
