What is the difference between a working relationship and a personal relationship?
Working relationships are formal with clear boundaries in place. We don’t chose the people we have a working relationship with.
Personal relationships are more intimate and not professional. These relationships develop naturally.
What does multi agency approach mean?
Different organisations such as police, social care, health care and education all working together
What does multi-disciplinary approach mean?
Where different specialists from within an organisation work together such as midwives and heart specialists in a hospital
What is a safeguarding board?
Where different agencies meet together to discuss ways of keeping service users safe.
Investigate cases where significant abuse has occurred and try to develop ways of learning from it and preventing similar incidents in the future
What is a Team Around the Child?
A group of practitioners working with a particular child and their family where actions are are identified to meet their unmet needs
How does partnership working meet the needs of individuals?
