What types of abuse are there?
Emotional, physical, mental, financial, sexual, verbal and neglect.
What are the two types of discrimination and their differences?
Direct- having the intention to purposely treating individuals in an unfairly way.
Indirect- “accidental” way of treating someone based of their differences (9 characteristics) or in unfairly way.
What is prejudice?
An unjustified attitude or opinion that is negative towards an individual based towards their membership of a social group. E.g., ethnicity, gender or religious groups
What are the types of prejudice?
Racism, Ageism, Sexism, Homophobia, Disability Prejudice
