What is the Normal Stop Sequence
A
- SCU drives DFC to idle, Normal stop then initiated.
- UEC starts 5 Min timer.
- At end of 5 min, FSOVs close, start 90 sec timer
- Off light will illuminate when Ngg is less then 3500 RPM and FMP has decreased below 50 PSIG.
- If T5.4 has not decreased below 400F or FMP has not decreased below 50 PSIG within 90 sec, “NORMAL STOP FAILURE” Displayed, primary indication of Post-Shutdown Fire.
- PT Brake will apply whn PT speed is below 500 RPM and FMP is less than 50 PSIG
- If outside air temp is less than 50, cooling fan will stop, otherwise it will run for 10 min then secure.
- If outside air temp is above 70F, damper will remain open. If between 70 and 125F operate fan for minimum of 10 mins. If above 125 Vent dampner fan auto run.

What is an emergency stop?
A
- UEC will close FSOV
- PT Brake applied when PT SPEED is below 500 RPM
- Cooling fan stops/vent damper closes.

- E-Stop the engine, then Halon is released.
