Large earthquake and volcanic eruptions are rare, and aren’t seen as a great threat.
Why does monitoring reduce hazard risk?
It allows people to be warned before hand and evacuate in time.
What recourses can fault lines and volcanoes bring?
Volcanoes can bring fertile soils, rocks for building and rich mineral deposits.
