what are the 8 characteristics all living organisms have
they need nutrition, they respire, they excrete their waste, they respond to their surroundings, they move, they cannot control their internal conditions, they reproduce, they grow and develop
why do living organisms need nutrition
to provide them with energy and the raw materials fro growth and repair
what does it mean by ‘respire’
they release energy from their food by a process called respiration
why do living organisms have to excrete their waste
waste products such s carbon dioxide and urine have to be removed. (removal of waste is called excretion)
Can plants move
Yes, they can move a little bit towards the sun
