Add 5cm2 of food sample to a test tube, add iodine solution and gently shake

Add 5cm3 of food sample to a test tube, prepare a water bath to 75oC, add 10 drops of Benedict’s solution, place test tube in water bath and leave for facing away for 5 mins.e
