A

Animals must be transported in appropriate vehicle, animal can stand, turn around and lie down, there is suitable ventilation and possibly bedding (if transporting young without mothers) and animals are watered at suitable intervals

A

1/2005- the Regulation is directly applicable across the European
Union (EU), national legislation is needed to give enforcement of it- Welfare of Animal Order is the UK specific enforcement
