- cardiac/respiratory disease
- metastatic malignant liver cancer
- alcohol/substance use disorder
- morbid obesity

what are signs of acute graft rejection?
A
- tachycardia, fever
- RUQ pain because that is where liver is
- change in bile color (steatorrhea) or increased jaundice
- increased AST and ALT

- decreased bile drainage

what medication must the liver transplant patient take?
A
administer immunosuppressants for life long therapy with liver transplant patients
