From what does the liver receive blood from? what percentage is from each?
Liver receives blood from the hepatic artery 20-30% while portal vein supply 70 to 80%
From what does the right lobe receive blood from?
The intestines
From what does the left lobe and caudate lobe receive blood from
Spleen and stomach
What does the hpv drain?
Gastrointestinal track, spleen, pancreas, and gallbladder
What makes up the portal, Triad?
Hepatic artery portal vein and common bile duct
Where is the main portal vein located
Within the hepatoduodenal ligament
Where does the main portal vein run to?
Portal hepatis in a right ward direction
What does the main portal vein branch into 
Left and right portal veins
To what does the main portal vein come in contact with?
Anterior surface of the IVC
Where does the anterior branch of the right portal vein lie
Centrally within the anterior segment of the right lobe
Where does the posterior branch of the right portal vein lie
Within the posterior segment
Is the right or left portal vein longer

Where is the left portal vein located in relationship to the right portal vein
It’s more anterior and cranial then right portal vein
What is the left portal vein relationship to the Caudate lobe
Courses anterior, and then divides the medial and lateral segments of left lobe
