SPEAR timeline

A

Day -60: SPEAR SPINS issued to the unit and a Battalion OPORD will be submitted to the 32d SPEAR OIC.

Day -30: SPEAR OIC/NCOIC conducts SPEAR LPD with unit and unit provides their FSOP to 32d SPEAR OIC.

Day -21: Unit submits TTP’s, and Tab Packets to 32d SPEAR OIC. SPEAR OIC distributes TTP’s and Tab Packets to SPEAR assessment team.

Day -7: Unit submits battle roster to 32d SPEAR OIC.

Day -6: System Emplacement, Integration & Checkout (“End-to-End testing”).

Day -6 through Day -1: Battalion Gunnery Training

Day -6: Current Threat Brief, conducted by Battalion S2

Day -1: SPEAR Assessment Team arrives at SPEAR location

Day 0: Final System Emplacement, Integration & Checkout, SPEAR Assessment Team conducts OC/T Academy

- Final Battalion TTP review by SPEAR assessment team
- 1-2 familiarization air battle runs
- Crew rotation schedule finalized-BN S3 and SPEAR OIC.
