A
Disadvantages:
a.) Parts that are being tested must be exceedingly clean and dry.
b.) Liquid Penetrant Testing cannot detect sub-surface defects.
c.) It is very difficult to test on porous materials
d.) PT is used to locate discontinuities based on its capillarity action, which are the ability of a liquid to be drawn into a discontinuity and to be drawn out during the developing phase.
