Q
What is the structure of steroids?
A
Four ring structure, E.g. oestrogen, testosterone, cholesterol
4
Q
What is the function of lipids?
A
Insulation, energy storage, protection
5
Q
What is the difference between saturated and unsaturated fatty acids?
A
Unsaturated - have a double carbon-to-carbon bond
Saturated - only have single carbon-to-carbon bond
