Pole
- high density fibreglass laminate
- between 5-7 telescopic sections
- sections raise one at a time, from 1.5-10.5m
- sections are engaged with spring loaded pins that lock in place as it reaches its travel limit

Operation 2. Extend link stick

A
  • hold in front
  • extend up, 1 section at a time, engaging locking pins
  • stop 1 metre below fuse

Operation 3 Connect and extract fuse

A
  • Engage the pigtail head with the base of fuse
  • rotate clockwise
  • pull 300mm down

A
  • engage locking pins 1 at a time
  • remove fuse from pigtsil
  • place at base of pole

Testing

A

Visual , into service, monthly , after use
- extend fully
- pole and threads are in good condition
- check test label in date

+ 6 monthly electrical authority test conducted
