Only 2 letters to represent it. An arrow on either side to signify it extends on into infinity.

A
Has a specific length and has no arrow. Not infinite.

A
One side is closed, the other has and arrow and continues on infinitely.

Opposite rays
A
SR and ST are called opposite rays if S is between R and T. This would be on a segment, not a line.

A
To find the difference between points, take the absolute value of either point minus the other one.
