Reverse Thrust Limitations
- Not permitted in flight.
- Not permitted to back up the aircraft.
- Max reverse should not be used < 70 knots or when airspeed starts to fluctuate.
Reduced Thrust Takeoff Limitations
- Thrust reduction must not exceed 25% of the full rated takeoff thrust. To meet the requirement, the flexible temperature must not be higher than ISA +53 for A320, and ISA +??? for A321.
- The assumed temperature must not be lower than the flat rating temperature, or the actual OAT.
- Takeoff at reduced thrust is not permitted on contaminated runways.
