Torque limits for take-off, max continuous, cruise climb, cruise, and transient:
2230 ft/lbs and for transient 2750 (5s). Note that torque varies with altitude
ITT limits for:
1. starting (note 5),
2. low idle (note 6),
3. take-off & max continuous,
4. max cruise,
5. cruise climb,
6. max reverse
7. transient (note 13).
These limits apply for which range of RPM? And outside this range what is the torque limit?
- Starting 1000. This value is limited to 5 seconds
- Low idle 750. this can be reduced by disabling accessories or increasing N1 rpm.
- take-off & max continuous 800.
- max cruise 800
- Cruise climb 770
- max reverse 750
- Transient 850. This value is limited to 20 seconds
External power limits:
28 - 28.4 volts. 1000 amps momentarily and 300 amps continuously
Generator limits with altitude:
SL - 31 000ft = 100%
above 31 000ft 88%
Generator limits with aircon on the grounds:
Gen loads:
- 0 - 75%
- 75% - 80%
- 80% - 85%
Now state the aircon on and aircon off minimum N1 speed:
aircon - off:
- 61%
- 61%
- 65%
aircon on:
- 62%
- 62%
- 65%
Avgas use limits (4):
- 150hrs max between overhaul’s
- limited to 20 000ft if either standby pump is inop
- Crossfeed capability is required above 20 000ft
- Operation above 31 000ft is prohibited
- Total usable fuel
- Main tanks (combined)
- aux tanks (combined)

- 386
- 158
Max fuel imbalance between left and right wing:
1000 lbs
When can you add fuel to the aux tanks?
When main tanks are full
Minimum fuel for take-off?
