NOTE 1

A

THE MAXIMUM TIME ALLOWED AT ZERO OR NEGATIVE G CONDITIONS IS 10 SECS. FLUCTUATING OIL PX IS ALLOWED DURING AND FOLLOWING ZERO OR NEGATIVE G CONDITIONS. A SHUTDOWN IS REQUIRED IF
A. OIL PX FLUXES FOR LONGER THAN 15 SECS AFTER RETURNING TO NORMAL FLIGHT
B. OIL PX REMAINS AT ZERO LONGER THAN A MOMENTARY TRANSIENT CONDITION
C. AFTER 1 MIN, AN AIRSTART MAY BE ATTEMPTED

NOTE 2

A

USE OF POWER BETWEEN GROUND START AND MAX REVERSE IN LOW RPM CAN CAUSE ENGINE RPM TO DECAY. CONTRIBUTING CAUSE ARE HIGH AMBIENT TEMP , FIELD ELEVATION, ALTITUDE, AIRSPEED, ACCESSORY LOAD, AND BLEED AIR EFFECTS ON THE POWER AVAILABLE AT LOW RPM. IF RPM BEGINS TO DECAY, ADVANCE THE POWER LEVER. IF RPM CONTINUES, SHUT DOWN ENGINE

NOTE 3

A

OPERATION BELOW 150 PSI WHEN RPM IS BELOW 100% IS PERMITTED. IF RGB PX IS BETWEEN 130-150 AT 100%, RECORD AND CONTINUE. MAINTENANCE SHOULD BE COMPLETED BEFORE NEXT FLIGHT

NOTE 10

A

TO RPM LIMITS, ALLOWABLE MOMENTARY OVERSHOOT/UNDERSHOOT WITH POWER LEVER ADVANCEMENT IS 96-106%. AN OVERSHOOT EXCEEDING 106% BUT IMMEDIATELY RETURNING TO WITHIN LIMITS MUST BE CORRRECTED PRIOR TO NEXT FLIGHT. RPM SHOULD STABILIZE WITHIN 10 SECONDS OF OVERSHOOT
