Lights And Reflectors

On the driver side:

Point out all reflectors, they are AMBER color

Point them out as you walk down the side of the vehicle

Stop at the rear
Look at the back of the cab
You should find red and white DOT tape

Look up at he corner of the trailer - clearance light, clean, working, not damaged

Point out the red and white DOT markers all the way down

Stop at the ack of the truck, look underneath, you should see 4-way emergency flashers and tail lights

Continue down the trailer at the middle
Look up - clearance light
Look down- reflector

Continue to lint out red and white DOT tape
At the rear if the trailer you should find on the corner ABS light

Go to the rear of the trailer
4-way flasher, tail lights working, not damage, clean
Red and white DOT tape

At the rear of the trailer you have red lights, they are called markers

Go up the right side of the trailer
Point out the same thing and the truck

Go back to the driver's side door
Turn off the 4-way emergency flashers
Turn on the high beams, left turn signal
High beams working
Left turn signal T&T all the way to the rear 
Turn right signal on """

Ask examiner

Would you like to check the brake lights while I push the brake pedal

Question 2

After in cab inspection

Ask examiner would you like me to leave the vehicle running while we check the lights and reflectors?

Answer 2

If his answer is yes:

Turn on the headlights, clearance lights, and 4-way emergency flashers
Make a safe exit from the vehicle
Go to the front of the vehicle

Point up

Clearance lights - clean working no damage
Headlights - clean working no damage
4-way emergency flashers - clean working no damage
