When light coming from a source Is blocked (opaque) he shadow is then similar in outline to the object blocking it

- People use mirrors to see themselves

The bending of light as it moves from one medium to another where it speed changes
Converging lens
Light bends so it’s converging inwards
Called refraction
Diverging lens
Bends light so it diverges outwards
Applications of refraction
Microscope, telescope and periscope
