- Nazis also set up programs and schemes to
get people back to work - Nazis provided work (roads, schools,
hospitals, railways) - Unemployment figures began to drop
-Created jobs by firing Jews and replacing them with Non-Jews. - No trade unions and wages set by the Nazi’s

- A woman’s most important job was to have children.
- Woman encouraged to stay at home and be good wives and mothers
- Women were to stay home and produce
more children. Women were discouraged from working and from going to university - Married couple were given a marriage loan that they were allowed to keep if they had 4 children
- Women were given a Cross of Honour by having 4, 6/8 children.
